Child's pose in a serene environment for total reset

Hi, I’m Ami Domadia

Reset Day was born from lived experience.

During years of operating in a fast-paced tech environment, I encountered burnout periodically. I sought restoration through week-long yoga retreats in exotic locations—experiences that were meaningful, yet required significant time, planning, and resources, and could only be accessed infrequently. Over time, these escapes began to feel episodic rather than truly transformative. Like many operating in demanding environments, I continued forward until my body and mind made it clear that a different rhythm was necessary.

That pause led me to explore yoga and other healing modalities—not as fitness, but as restoration practice. Through this journey, I discovered Yin and Restorative yoga and felt a profound shift: a return to balance, clarity, and resilience.

Driven by curiosity and personal transformation, I became a certified teacher in Hatha, Yin and Restorative yoga. Over time, I developed a Yang to Yin approach—guiding students through an energizing flow before gently transitioning into slower, deeply calming practices that are engineered to begin a calm cascade.

Resetday is the expression of that philosophy:
Effort followed by ease.
Movement followed by stillness.
Ambition balanced by compassion.

My Approach

What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead. What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create a calming experience with purpose at every turn.
